June’s Proud to Serve award recipient is Dave Tenorio, a St. Louis police officer who has recently recovered from COVID-19. Officer Tenorio, who serves our city in the traffic and motorcycle units of the SLPD, was hospitalized by the virus and eventually placed on a ventilator. With prayer and experimental treatment, Officer Tenorio’s life was saved and he has now been reunited with his loving family. Learn more about this local hero’s incredible story in the short video below.
