Rob Schmittgens represents plaintiffs at Brown & Brown, LLC. Rob devotes his practice to litigation, focusing on personal injury, auto collision cases, premises liability cases, property damages, and worker’s compensation. Rob also has experience in handling criminal defense and traffic matters.
Rob is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Illinois, having passed the Missouri Bar Exam in 2016 and the Illinois Bar Exam in 2017. He is an active member of the Missouri Bar, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Association.
Rob was born and raised in the greater St. Louis area. He attended Chaminade College Preparatory School racquetball. Upon graduation from CCP, Rob enrolled at Quincy University where he majored in political science and a minor in philosophy.
Rob graduated in 2016 from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. At UMKC, Rob was an active member of the school’s nationally ranked mock trial team. For his success as a student advocate, Rob was inducted into the prestigious “Order of the Barristers” and awarded the Judge Leon S. Powell Award.
Prior to joining Brown & Brown, Rob worked at another plaintiff’s law firm. Rob works tirelessly to help victims secure the compensation they deserve.
Rob lives in St. Louis with his fiancé Teresa and their dogs, Dexter and Barry. When he is not practicing law, he can be found rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, Tottenahm Hotspur, playing golf, or going to concerts around the country.
