Proud to Serve, a segment on Fox 2 News in St. Louis, highlights local military veterans and first responders who have given both to our community and to our country. Located in St. Louis, Brown & Brown is proud to support this recognition of men and women who have made a difference at home and throughout the world.
Every month, Brown & Brown awards a check to the recipient of Proud to Serve. This month’s recipient is Daymon McGhee, known as “Daymo” to the kids he serves, a Security Supervisor for Hazelwood School District in St, Louis. Covering 78 square miles, Hazelwood is the city’s second largest school district and Mr. McGhee, a graduate of the district, has been working to keep it secure since 2006. Moving into a supervisorial role seven years ago, Daymon oversees 25 employees, all of whom are in the business of keeping kids safe, healthy, and happy.
