Every year in the U.S., at least 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs, and more than 900,000 of them need emergency medical care.
To try to prevent dog attacks and keep people safe, advocates across the nation have dedicated the third week of May to commemorate National Dog Bite Prevention Week. In support of this effort, we at Brown & Brown are sharing the following infographic, which presents some of the latest findings about the prevalence of dog bite injuries in the U.S.
While we encourage you to share this Infographic on social media to help spread the word and support the effort, we also invite you to contact us and find about more about your options for recovery if you have been seriously hurt by a dog. Our lawyers are here for you, ready to help.
